Item Details
Description
A pair of Chinese white-ground embroidered silk sleeve borders dating from the 19th century. Each features butterflies with fruit and vines, and there is a meander border along one edge of each sleeve. They both feature the forbidden stitch.

Dimensions are: the area of the embroidery measures 18 inches tall X 4 inches wide, 45.7 cm X 10.2 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Both sleeve borders have areas of loss and staining. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
