Dong Indigo-Dyed Jacket, China, Mid 20th C. Mid-length, short-sleeved indigo-dyed man's jacket with front tie closure and side slits, ribbon with cross-stitch embroidery along sides at front and appliqued folded cloth triangles in rows at hem. Cotton, silk thread; applique, embroidery. Dong People, Southeastern Guizhou Province, Liping County. Size: 23'' x 26'', (58 x 66 cm). Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection.
