Framed German document signed by the Emperor of Germany and King of Prussia, Wilhelm II (Friedrich Wilhelm Viktor Albert; 1859-1941) on November 7, 1889, who later became the last monarch of Germany when he abdicated in 1918 after Germany's WWI defeat, the document bears the seal of the North German Confederation, not translated, sight: approx. 13"h, 8.25"w, overall: 15.5"h, 10.75"w, 2.20lbs *Note: On November 7, 1889, Emperor Wilhelm II arrived in Damascus as part of a state visit to the Ottoman Empire. This Document appoints Johannes Kuhnas to the position of magistrate judge in Berlin.
