Description
SANDRA GOOD (b. 1944) A long-time member of the Manson Family and a close friend of Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme. Good was in jail with Mary Brunner for attempting to use stolen credit cards when the Tate/La Bianca murders took place but was arrested at Spahn Ranch during the August 16th raid. In 1975 Good was sentenced to 15 years for sending death threats and was paroled in 1985. Lengthy T.L.S. 'Blue', 12pp. 4to., [n.p., n.d.], to Charles Manson. In part: '...I'm frequently angry because people around me are so insensitive and have little sense of consideration if any. Things that might not mean much to some people are real big to me...I went to the Rec. to return my J.R. Tolkien Fellowship of the Ring book and I ran into the girls who were going into the exercise room...I told them that Lynette Fromme was a good dancer but she couldn’t come out. They said who? I said you may have heard of her by the name 'Squeaky', and that’s when I guess they know who I was...I told them you were a fantastic dancer and how you and others sometimes would dance when the police came to the ranch to harass us...They cracked up and then started talking about how you looked like one of those enlightened people that they could tell by your eyes...I told them how earth was woman to you and how you didn’t look for approval and attention from women and other stuff...Much more. Handwritten annotations present throughout the body of the letter, stapled at the top right corner.
