Description
Large pre-Columbian Nayarit San Sebastian seated figure, polychrome ceramic. The female figure is seated on a two-footed stool, and leans forward, her arms folded across her belly. Her elongated head is adorned with jewelry. Some repairs. William Atkins' home and collection were featured in the Spring 1970 edition of "Living Now" magazine.
