Description
Large pre-Columbian Nayarit San Sebastian seated figure. The figure is seated on a two footed stool with one arm covering the mouth and the other arm resting along the figure's side. The figure is depicted wearing earrings, a necklace, a nose ring, and a hat or crown. Some remnants of polychroming. William Atkins' home and collection were featured in the Spring 1970 edition of "Living Now" magazine.
