Group of four photographs of Abraham Lincoln. The photographs are the famous images of Abraham Lincoln taken by the photographer Alexander Gardner. Each image has been printed in different ways. One was printed at the Time-Life Photo Lab in New York City from the original Meserve glass negative, one is an Albumen Silver Print, one printed by the Abraham Lincoln Bookshop in Chicago, IL from the original glass collodion stereo negative on Ilford fiber-based paper, and the other via sheet-fed gravure. Each image has some additional information about the photograph on the verso.
Unframed; Height ranges from 7 to 13 1/2 inches; width ranges from 7 1/2 in to 10 1/2 in. Framed; Height ranges from 14 1/2 in to 24 in; width ranges from 14 1/2 in to 20 in.
