James Garrard, London 1882
Circular form with broad gadroon edge, centred with a cylindrical column and removable drip-pan, flying scroll handle with detachable conical snuffer, insignia for the British Government (post 1837) with the Latin motto 'HONI SOIT QUI MALY PENSE' and crown above engraved both to tray base and on drip-pan, 'Her Britannic Majesty's Embassy at Madrid' engraved to the base, diameter 15cm, weight 22oz. (2)
