1p, [4.25” x 5”] Single Page ALS Grover Cleveland, Tyringham, Mass, dated September 10, 1901. Addressed to W.E. Parkhurst. Signed “Grover Cleveland”, signature dark and bold, with scattered ink smears and dealers notes on verso.

In full:

“Dear Sir,
Your note of the 6th instant is at hand; and I comply with your request by making this acknowledgment of its receipt.
Yours very truly,
Grover Cleveland”

Grover Cleveland was an American lawyer and politician who served as the 22nd and 24th president of the United States from 1885 to 1889 and from 1893 to 1897. Cleveland is the only president in American history to serve two non-consecutive terms in office.
