MATERIAL/FINISH COMPOSITION: Plated steel. Military wood stock. Steel butt plate. Brass ramrod.

FEATURES: "US Springfield" and eagle/shield stamped on lock plate in front of hammer; "1863" to the rear. Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight. Upper tang of butt plate stamped US.

CONDITION: Good. Approximately 80% of plating remains on metal components. Faint scratching and sporadic pitting on metal surfaces. Minimal wear on stock.
