Description

OUTSTANDING PAIR OF WOOD DUCKS by George Strunk, Glendora, NJ. Excellent original paint and condition. Both hollow construction. Very fine painted feather detail overall to both. The hen with very fine ticking to face and neck. The drakewith fine ticking to breast and detailed comb painting to the sides. Both with raised carved wing tips and cupped fluted tail carving. Both heads just very slightly turned. Overall length of the drake is approximately 14 1/4 inches; the hen is approximately 13 1/2 inches. Both retain pad weights stamped G STRUNK. Both signed by the maker and dated 1997. 800-1200
