Description
Visscher, after Nicolaum (Nicolaes) (Dutch, 1618-1679), Die Heylige und Weitberuhmte Stadt Jerusalem Erstlich Genant Salem, antique map, c. 1710s, published in a German bible by Johann Detleffsen, a slightly larger re-engraving of Visscher's famous map from a century earlier, full sheet 16 x 19 inches, folded down center as originally issued, in a frame that allows you to see the text on the backside, key locating 36 places and angelic cartouche on the left side.
Condition
