The shirt comes with a typeset letter dated 1995 signed by Marty Lacker, Memphis Mafia member and one of Elvis' closest confidants. The shirt will also come with a notarized letter of provenance dated 2018 from a collector who acquired the piece in 2013, which states that they contacted Marty Lacker after acquiring the piece, and that Lacker confirmed its authenticity. The piece will also come with a certificate of authenticity from Southern Gospel recording artist Michael Bright's Music Memories Museum dated January 2022, which states that it was displayed in the museum located in Swainsboro, Georgia. The lot will also come with (4) 5" x 7" reference photos picturing Elvis wearing what appears to be this shirt.
