Item Details
Description
1988 Fender Stratocaster 57 reissue guitar, made by Fender in the USA. STYLE: 57 Reissue Stratocaster SERIAL NUM: V032744 COLOR: Lake Placid Blue. WEIGHT: 7lbs 7.6ozs (3kg/390g) POT CODES: 1378734, 1378725, 137872X. Well, we managed to save this guitar from an ongoing zombie apocalypse, it appears this guitar has fought many battles. Were still trying to figure out whether to rate this guitar a 1 as far as its condition or a 10 for surviving its previous owners hands from hell. Nonetheless well let you decide. The neck has a 7.25 radius, slim c shape. Incredible patina on the tuners, checking on both sides of the headstock. Waterslide decal above the finish. Pencil date of "1-25-88 JC" on the butt. Base on the initials this neck may have been made by John Cruz. Chips, dings, dents and rubbings. there is some fret ware but there is plenty left to play with. The body, you name it, this body has it. Dings, dents, scratches, markings, wood fillings, carvings, some pretty cool checking. Screws and bridge has some pretty nice relicing and patina. Pickups, pots, tremolo bridge are all original. The additional 5 way switch that came with this guitar is installed. Original 3 way switch is included. Pickguard has a couple screw hole cracks as well. Performance: despite everything this guitar went through it plays very well. It has beautiful tones coming out of our deluxe reverb amp and is screaming to fins a new home. This guitar comes with its original graffiti drawn case and key, 3-way switch, tremolo arm, ashtray bridge cover, two springs, cable, original owners personalized guitar picks and a 1993 concert ticket stub from a Jeff Beck concert which was found in the case compartment. Guitar case measures approx. 41.5in x 14.5in x 4.25in overall. This guitar would add to any shop, collection or home.
