Southeast Asia, Thailand, Sawankhalok culture, ca. 15th century CE. A beautiful pottery bowl, presenting a rotund body with a wide hip, a slanted shoulder, and a flared rim, all sitting upon a ring-shaped foot. Boasting hues of creamy beige and russet, the elegant vessel features 4 petite loop handles that are equidistantly placed along the shoulder. Rich earthen and marine encrustations cover the surface, a lovely consequence of having spent centuries on the ocean floor. Size: 5.4" Diameter x 4.2" H (13.7 cm x 10.7 cm)
