This is an incredible Stratocaster, the first early run 1997 Fender Jimi Hendrix Tribute Stratocaster. This guitar was made in July of 1997 and is in excellent, almost mint condition. They only ran the Hendrix Tribute Stratocaster from 1997 to 2001. Minor swirling on the lower side of the pickguard, extremely hard to notice. This Strat has barely been played. Absolutely no fretware. No dings, dents, or scratches on this baby! This guitar has sat in the original case since day one. This Hendrix guitar is based on a 1970 Strat for a left-handed player but strung for right-handed players with repositioned strap buttons. Even the pickups are reversed staggered vintage 69 single coiled. What is really cool is the reversed headstock decal as well as the Hendrix Silhouette stamped on the neck plate. This beautiful Hendrix Strat comes with all its original case candy to include original hang tag with serial number, manuals, tremolo bar, tremolo spring pack, additional 5-way switch that was never installed, beautiful never used 1960’s style ACE guitar strap, coiled white vintage style cable and unopened polishing cloth. Original black tolex with plush orange interior and Fender logo case is in great shape and includes keys. You will not find another Hendrix Strat in this condition. Made in USA.
