This is a 1988 Fender 1962 Reissue Stratocaster in very good condition. SERIAL NUMBER: V035791. COLOR: Olympic White Nitrocellulose Finish. WEIGHT: 7lbs 12.2ozs (3kg/520g). 100% original, no modifications, lightweight. The beautiful Olympic White Nitro finish has just started to darken. The body has some dings, scratches and paint chips giving this guitar some vintage character. All the metal hardware has some nice light patina. Pick marks are visible on the pickguard as well as marks on the tremolo plate. Two pot codes are stamped 1378825 and the third is 137872X. Original 3-way switch is still on the guitar. The neck was made by famous Master Neck Builder Herb Gastelum. H. GASTELUM is stamped at the butt along with a stamp date of JUL 25, 1988. Neck is in very nice condition, some markings on the back of the neck and headstock. Neck has a 7.25 radius, 60’s C shape profile, vintage style frets. Fretware is very minimal, plenty of life left. Tuners have some light patina. This is a nice guitar with a neck made by Fenders best. This guitar comes with its original tweed case in excellent condition with keys (plastic film is still on the latches), tremolo bar, ashtray bridge cover, additional 5 position selector switch, cable, envelope spring pack, and guitar strap.
