Original design based on the Lone Star pattern.
1990.
98" x 98".
Cotton.
Hand-pieced; hand appliqued; hand-quilted.
Excellent condition.
No repair or restoration.
Quilt made in the style of the 1850's with reproduction fabrics.
Quilter's statement, "My Masterpiece!" Exhibited at The Folk Art Center in Asheville, NC, 2014, "Eyecatchers: The Hunter Collection" and The National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY, (2008) and Asheville Folk Art Center (2014).
Provenance: Barbara Hacker Hunter Collection.
Appraised in 2008 by Holly Anderson of The American Quilter's Society for $7,900.
