Description
Potter Carl Block of Waxahatchie, TX, is a retired 30 high school art teacher of 30 years. And during that same period he began to has works sold & exhibited via some friends that are dealers also in the town. He had dabbled in pots for years prior. This fine face jug is a standard most excellent Block, likely circa 90's. It's very challenging to describe his multi-hue & varied design on his pots. At the base of the handle (i.e. the button) is a little stamp that likely is his mark. In addition there is a second 'button' that has the letter FLP. Carl loves to mark his pots, including the year made, in subtle ways. Stands 9.5" by 7".
