Pair of Chinese Qing Jiaqing Famille Rose Horseshoe Porcelain Bowls. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the flaring round mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of lotus flowers bloom interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years JiaQing Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
