Legatura coeva francese di mm. 1283x77, vitellino bordeaux, decorazione con forme geometriche, filetti nastriformi dorati, con all’interno delle losanghe e delle valve intrecci, svolazzi, arabeschi e spirali, piccoli ferri à mille points, decorazione policroma eseguita tramite della pasta colorata nella tinta nera, tagli dorati e cesellati con motivi fitomorfi. 2 parti in un volume, 2 Frontespizi con marca tipografica, Ritratto del Petrarca e di Laura a carta a8v; 6 illustrazioni xilografiche dei Trionfi; carattere corsivo e romano. Opera in magnifica legatura rinascimentale, prodotta a Lione o a Parigi nella seconda metà del XVI secolo. Contemporary French binding of mm. 1283x77, bordeaux calf, decoration with geometric shapes, gilded ribbon-like fillets, with interweaving lozenges and valves inside, flourishes, arabesques and spirals, small irons à mille points, polychrome decoration performed with colored paste in black, golden cuts and chiseled with phytomorphic motifs. 2 parts in one volume, 2 Title pages with typographic mark, Portrait of Petrarch and Laura on a8v paper; 6 woodcut illustrations of the Triumphs; italic and roman font.
Work in magnificent Renaissance binding, produced in Lyon or Paris in the second half of the 16th century.
