Excellent collection of 18th Century Acts during the reign of King George III. The seven range from 1739-1778, the earlier acts printed by John Baskett, Printer to the King, the latter folios by Charles Eyre and William Strahan, Printers to the King. Acts involve a variety of laws and edicts from frauds and abuses to prorogations to the act mentioned in headline "To Impower His Majesty To Secure and Detain Persons Charged with the Crime of High Treason Committed in Any of His Majesty's Colonies in America or On the High Seas." Overall the seven folios are in outstanding condition, three beautifully archived with very little toning.
