A scarce Penguin mascot by Max Blondat, French, circa 1920,
signed 'Max-Blondat' to rear of base, cold-painted 'cire perdue' hollow-cast nickel-plated bronze, depicting the standing penguin with painted body, feet, beak and eyes, some loss to paint in places commensurate with age, 18.5cm high, mounted on a period radiator cap above a turned wooden display base.
