Description
SCHOENEBECK CARL-AUGUST VON: (1898-1989) German Major General with the Luftwaffe during World War II. Small collection of three T.Ls.S. and one A.L.S., v. Schoenebeck, each one page, 8vo and 4to, Munich, February - December 1972, all to the aviation philatelist Hans Rossbach, in German. Schoenebeck writes concerning his correspondent's request to sign some commemorative covers, agreeing to undertake the task if the work will benefit a social fund, asking him to be patient until the beginning of May as he has to fly to South Africa and won't be able to devote the time until then, suggesting that Rossbach use a different portrait and proposing one of him in an Albatros aircraft, and also thanking him for recommending the RAF museum close to London, which he will visit next time that he is in England.
