The case is generally in good condition, there is a crack to the left side of the trunk and another crack across the centre of the plinth. The bun feet are later replacements. The entire case has been sympathetically refinished. The backplate of the dial is very bright, the spandrels are possibly later replacements. The silvered chapter ring is very clear, the blued steel hands are very fine, but possible later replacements. The movement is fully working but a full sympathetic service is recommended.
