Albert Hodge, now retired, created folk pots of in the middle of the Catawba Valley on NC 10 in Vale, NC, just down the street from Kim Ellington & Charlie Lisk. Initially for the first few years he was based in Newton, NC. This is phenomenal example of Albert's work and one of his famous triple face jugs. One face is always a devil. There is tremendous detail throughout the pot Marked w/ his Albert Hodge Vale NC stamp toward the base 3x (in between each of the faces). And then marker hand-signed and inscribed to a person named Sandy. Stands 14" x 9".
