Item Details

Description

Great fun jug by Joe Reinhardt alluding to his wife Jill. This is from 2000 and on the base he 'My wife run off with another jug and what a relief'. And it's fine 2 handle swirl jug of which to be proud. Apparently her loving on his jugs is far superior than a finding another man to love (that sounds pretty logical that Joe R would be pleased with that reality). Below the left ear (of the face) is a vertical line that appears original to the firing. Likely something in the firing came down from an angle and the crack/line spread upward & downward a bit. It doesn't appear post kiln firing because the formation. Signed also in marker on the base. Stands 10"H.

ALL POTTERY IS IN EXCELLENT AS FIRED CONDITION UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION.
