Item Details

Description

A fine swirl face pot by Burlon (b1914-d2002) turned late in his life with the face applied by his grandson Dwayne. As demand for the Burlon's faces particularly skyrocketed as an octogenerian, his grandson Dwayne would help by creating the faces. These unique combined pots are primarily from the last several years of Burlon's life. There are some firing lines in the central facial area, not uncommon for these type examples. Stamped/signed - purchased from BBC and family towards the end of his life. 8"H x 5.5"D.

ALL POTTERY IS IN EXCELLENT AS FIRED CONDITION UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION.
