Item Details

Description

Joe Reinhardt is a retired Catawba Valley potter. His shop/home are basically across the road from the old Craig family homesite. He lost his sweetheart Jill (his wife) ~1/2 dozen years ago. This is double chamber monkey jug with the full body of the pot becoming the face jug. 'My name is Tex and don't you forget it' is inscribed by Joe on the base. Also he signs the pot w/ his heart mark on the side and further inscribes (and marker signs) the base. Dated 2011. Stands 13.5"H.

Condition

ALL POTTERY IS IN EXCELLENT AS FIRED CONDITION UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION.
