Description

Please refer to Lot #129 for more on Mike's background as it is helpful to understand of this collection being offered. As with the snake jug, for Mike, this is fairly basic pot because of the complexity of his work. But it is still stunning with the face and glass runs. The amazing alkaline glaze. Even the original price tag of $60 (that is accurate) is still on the jug. Signed simply in script MB on base. In his earlier his MB stamp was employed intermittently. The face jug is 8.5"H.

Condition

ALL POTTERY IS IN EXCELLENT AS FIRED CONDITION UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION.
