Description
Lebanon County, first half-19th century. Emanuel Meily (1776-1851) cherry clock, bonnet with turned finials, broken arch pediment with inlaid rosettes, arched door and turned columns, case with reeded quarter columns, door with shaped top, lower raised panel with scalloped edges and ogee bracket feet. Metal face with painted floral and bird decoration and one weight brass works. Refinished, replaced finials and some wear. 91"h. 19.5"w. 11.5"d. Together with and 1846 Emanuel Meily (Jr), 1805- 1869, jacquard coverlet red, white and blue with floral and leafy pattern. Corner block reads "Emanuel Meily, Lebanon, 1846, W. Densler". Minor wear. 82"w. 94"l. plus fringe.
