Fabulous Currency Lot of 18 Early American Notes, Ca. 1850s & 1860s

A unique group of eighteen various early currency notes, dated between 1857 through 1933. The notes are of varying denomination and size, ranging from 3 cents to $100. Heavy wear to most, with folds, creases, small holes, and areas of toning and soiling throughout. Please refer to the photographs for further condition information. The group includes:

1. Three Cents, Receivable for all U.S. Stamps. Measuring 2.75" x 1.6", Treasury Department, United States, dated March 3, 1863.

2. $1.00 Note, Trade Script. Measuring 8" x 3.6", Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Ca. 1933.

3. Fifty Cents. Measuring 4.125" x 2.5", the Augusta Insurance & Banking Co., Augusta, Georgia, dated January 1, 1863. Numbered 1766.

4. Fifty Cents. Measuring 6" x 2.75", Greensboro Mutual, Greensboro, North Carolina, dated March 1, 1862. Numbered 4468.

5. $1.00 Note. Measuring 6.25" x 2.75", Montgomery, Alabama, dated January 1, 1863. Numbered 116772.

6. (2) $1.00 Notes. Measuring 6.75" x 3", Augusta Insurance & Banking Co., Augusta, Georgia, dated October 5 and November 10, 1861. Numbered 992 and 3804.

7. $1.00 Note. Measuring 6.25" x 2.75", Raleigh, North Carolina, dated January 1, 1863. Numbered 245.

8. $1.00 Note. Measuring 7" x 3", Adrian Insurance Company, Adrian, Michigan, undated. Numbered 789[?].

9. $2.00 Note. Measuring 7.25" x 3", Western Exchange, Omaha City, Nebraska, dated November 2, 1857. Numbered 3234.
