Description
ELF ENGINE CO. MODEL NO. 1 "CORNCOB" 1937 MODEL AIRPLANE ENGINE, sand cast, cylinder bypass embossed "ELF" in a stylized diamond, cylinder base edge impressed with SN "156" on right side, brass fuel tank, air intake, fitted with a Champion spark plug. Crankshaft turns freely and is untested for functionality. Fitted in corrugated box with paper label for "1937 ELF ENGINE" of unknown association, includes manufacture informative brochure. 1937. 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" overall.
