Doucai Dragon Plate
Width:19.5cm.Height:4.5cm.
Provenance: Acquired from Chinese Antique Shop released out around late Qing Dynasty.
Da Qing Yongzheng official mark and antique shop sticker visible. The plate is applied with doucai, decorated with dragons, a dragon in medallion rising from sea waves to auspicious clouds.
A similar one was sold at Christie’s FINE CHINESE CERAMICS AND WORKS OF ART, for HKD 274,850 in 1 Nov 2004.
