U.S. Navy Model 1852 Style Coast Guard Presentation Sword
Having D-shaped hand guard marked 'USCG' including wire over ray skin handle and leather over metal scabbard, blade marked 'Gaunt' and 'Made USA' on each side of ricasso; unsharpened blade having recipient name 'Richard H Hunt', naval insignias and 'U.S.C.G' engraved throughout

Length: 37 inches, Width: 5 inches (sword unsheathed, tip to pommel)
Condition: Very Good to Good, overall light to moderate wear consistent with normal use; blade having chrome plating intact except for minor spotting on ricasso and some darkening around name; wire handle wrapping loose, ray skin handle darkened; scabbard leather on opposite side of seam deteriorated, exposing oxidized metal core
