The cream riser is traditionally found in North Carolina and seldom seen in North Georgia, anymore south or west and they are not present for unknown reasons. The cream riser has a lime glaze with two lug lifter handles and a pouring spout. Heavy kiln oxidation film is present on the side of the cream riser. This is a highly sought after form especially from Alabama and is in great condition for being a utilitarian stoneware example.
