FREE-BLOWN MARBRIE LOOP GLASS VASE WITH MATCHING WITCH BALL, colorless with opal loopings, thistle-form bowl, raised on a compressed wafer stem, applied circular foot, topped with a matching large witch ball, rough pontil mark and opening. Pittsburgh area. 1840-1850. 14 1/4" HOA, 8 1/2" H vase.

Condition
Excellent condition with a single small chip to the vase rim; witch ball having some glass haziness; each having some light wear. Witch ball having a minor spall in association with the pontil opening, as made.
