Outstanding Collection of Early Italian and Etruscan pottery. Biconical urn of the Villanova Culture. Impasto with engraved decor in form of swastikas inside of metopes, 9th - 1st half 8th century B.C. Reassembled from fragments, upper part is missing. Monumental kantharos with animals heads and knops and a miniature kantharos with plastic ribs. Impasto, 2nd half 8th - 1st half 7th century B.C. Most of the handles at the larger piece are missing and modern retouched, the small kantharos is reassembled with retouched missing parts. Pottery with engraved decor included a treefoil jug with triangles, an amphora with spirals, a small amphora and kyathos with triangles and a kotyle with rhombes and dots. Impasto, 2nd half 8th - 1st half 7th century B.C. Jug and larger amphora except of a fissure at the amphora intact, small amphora, kyathos and kotyle with retouched missing parts. Nice biconical bowl with three pseudo handles and impressed decor. Impasto, about 700 B.C. Few retouched missing fragments at the rim, otherwise intact. Small treefoil jug with geometric decor. Subgeometric, about 700 B.C. Few scratches, otherwise intact. Two plates. Subgeometric, 680 - 670 B.C. Between line decor on the lower side a frieze with waterbirds. Reassembled from fragments with retouched missing parts. Treefoil jug with grooved decor. Bucchero sottile, late 7th century B.C. Reassembled at the lower part, tiny fragments are missing.
