approximately 3 1/2 in. diameter

Right-handed fly reel with an "EDWARD vom HOFE, MAKER, -N.Y.-, PAT, May 20, 02" plate, includes leather case.

This reel belonged to John M. Olin who fished it at the Moisie Salmon Club where he was a member. Russ Fisher continued to fish it on the Moisie as well as in British Columbia for steelhead.
