Description
Group of three mid 19th century sabers of the type used in the American Civil war and Indian Wars, comprising a C. Roby U.S. Model 1860 Light Cavalry saber, marked to ricasso 'C. Roby W. Chelmsford Mass,' on one side and 'US 1865 A.G.M;' to the other, with the typical curved blade and wooden grip with brass counterguard; a German saber with a crowned head mark, likely Weyersberg, with full leather wrapped guard and grip as well as a leather scabbard; and a European saber with an engraved blade and scabbard, having no apparent marks.

Roby sword missing scabbard as well as leather and wire grip wrap, blade with corrosion and several nicks to edge. German sword with wear to the leather grip and corrosion to the blade. European sword, corrosion and small holes to scabbard,
