This used cotton Sunbonnet Sue quilt is a graphic and visual vintage beauty. The quilt is all hand pieced applique as well all hand quilted with fabrics from the 1930's. There is straight line stitching, diamond grid stitching, throughout at 8 stitches per inch. The stitches are precise and consistent. The binding is machine stitched and the batting in thin.

CONDITION
In fair unwashed condition, with a yellow staining as seen in photos, backing faded, fading to blue and pink divider stripes, and no wear, no fabric splitting, has one small rip as shown in photo. I have not laundered this quilt and is as found from a farmhouse sale in Western New York. No fading to Sunbonnet Sue. Strong and Sturdy.

We do not launder or dry clean unless stated in listing, and most times have been in storage for many decades picking up old age storage oxidation spots.
