A great lot of two rare mechanical pencil sharpeners. (A) The Right Pencil Sharpener, a three-blade crank pencil sharpener. It is marked with "Pat Applied For by the Everett Specialty Company, 45 E 17th St, New York, USA." This is a quite rare antique pencil sharpener from around the turn of the century, likely around 1907. CONDITION: Showing moderate oxidation and surface rust throughout and would benefit from being cleaned. Complete and operational. (B) Planetary Pencil Pointer by the A.B. Dick Company, 1896. Cast iron showing the original brass label, shavings drawer and crank handle. CONDITION: Light oxidation to the painted surfaces and light scratches and scuffs to the paint. It is mounted to a period wood base. Condition: (Good). Dimensions: Larger: 7 - 1/2" x 4 - 1/2" x 6".
