A mid 19th century Seth Thomas shelf clock, retailed by James Brice, Cincinnati. 30-hr weight driven time and strike movement with a painted wooden dial and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with pediment top over a long door with clear dial glass and decorated lower flanked by molded pilasters on a simple square base. Paper label 80% intact. Older finish with wear and veneer damage/repair, restoration to crown, paint loss on lower glass, running when cataloged. 28 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $100-150
