Framed Civil War memorabilia from the Strong Family of Cleveland OH, including one letter hand written by Union Major-General Quincy Adams Gillmore (1825-1888), with envelope, a newspaper clipping and a signed cargo slip. Ironically, Gillmore was later involved in the reconstruction Fort Sumter, which he had helped to destroy. Measuring 22" x 18" as framed.
