Description
STAMPED "HARRISBURG", PENNSYLVANIA STENCILED STONEWARE MILK BOWL, salt-glazed, "2" gallon capacity mark, flat-top rim, one incised shoulder ring, and applied arched handles, Albany-slip glazed interior. Stenciled cobalt stylized floral design to front, additional brushed cobalt to stamp. Probably F.H. Cowden, Harrisburg, PA. Circa 1885. 6 1/4" H, 12 3/8" D rim.

Having an approximately 3 1/2" L hairline crack to rim and a faint hairline to base.
