ENGLISH SPATTERWARE FLORAL MOTIF CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, each featuring a polychrome hand-painted flower, comprising three rose examples with blue-sponged border including a decagonal-form chamber pot with cover, an octagonal-form pitcher, and a 7 1/2" plate with panelled rim, and a 10 3/4" D bowl featuring central tulip design with broad purple- and blue-sponged border decoration, having impressed "COTTON / AND / BARLOW." to underside. Cotton and Barlow, Longton, England; and others. Second quarter 19th century. 10 3/4" HOA.Â

Bowl undamaged; plate having rim hairline; chamber pot with chip to foot and cover with scattered chips to edge, some moderate;Â pitcher having restoration including to a hairline extending from rim to base, slightly yellowing to base underside.Â
