George Hoff 30 Hour Tall Cased Clock. Brass works has a trapeze type pendulum hanger, pendulum staff with brass weight. Additional drive weights on braided cord. Engraved brass chapter ring with Roman numerals and case spandrels all mounted on a red painted sheet iron plate. Engraved name plate within ring below XII reading: "George Hoff, Lancaster."(Pennsylvania,1733 - 1816). Softwood case with a dark stain over original red paint. Flat top bonnet on a plain case with later waist door window added and footless base with molding strips. 81"h. X 20 3/4"w. Condition: Good with age and use wear. Works have not been tested.
