Description
An antique Japanese porcelain vase. Late Meiji period, before 1912. Rounded shape with pronounced neck. The piece is hand-painted with Imari decor, floral ornaments and medallions of women in a garden. Imari ware is a Western term for a brightly-coloured style of Japanese export porcelain from the Arita region in the 17-18th centuries. Collectible Oriental Asian Decor, Imari Porcelain Ware.
