This is a Pre-Columbian Costa Rican pottery vessel with a molded face dating to circa 800 A.D. It was acquired from Arte Primitive, Inc on East 65th st in New York City in 1988. Accompanied by the receipt.
From the Upstate New York estate of Marshall and Kay Lee. Marshall was a well known collector of Pre-Columbian pottery and a talented and well-respected book designer in the publishing industry.
