A memoir on the life and popularity of Norwegian opera singer Kirsten Flagstad (1895-1962) who debuted in New York in 1935 and instantly became one of the most successful singers of her time. Includes a selection of accompanying programs and newspaper clippings of her performances, along with a cutout of her as Isolde glued to the front end page. MEASUREMENTS: 8-5/8" high x 5-7/8" wide. CONDITION: Overall good. Hinges and text block remain in good condition. Slight loss to top of spine. Toning and wear to some ephemera. AJ.
